The setup

Foundation Billing & Medical Coding set out to do what most online educators only talk about: turn deep, hard-won classroom expertise into a real, self-paced online school — one that could enroll students, take payment, and teach, all without a clinical seat in sight. The audience is specific: career-changers, parents, caregivers, and people re-entering the workforce who want a stable, fully remote healthcare career without clinical work.

The catch: there was no website to build on. This wasn’t a rescue or a facelift of a tired old site — it was a brand-new build, from a blank canvas to a launch-ready learning platform.

The instructor needed a partner who could translate years of teaching into a structure that sells courses, gates content to paying students, and guides career-changers through a multi-course path to certification. DigiSavvy took on the build — and brought in our partners at Replicant Digital to refresh the look and lighten the load, trimming scope and sharpening the design so the project could get to the starting line without dragging.

The challenge

A from-zero build that had to sell, teach, get found, and launch on a solo instructor’s timeline.

  • Sell and bill. Three courses at three price points, with payment plans, gated so only enrolled students get in.
  • Teach. A real learning management system — lessons, course structure, progress, and instructor support.
  • Be found. A brand-new domain with no search history, needing to rank for the terms real prospects type.
  • Launch lean. A solo instructor can’t wait years or carry an enterprise budget — it had to be shippable on a realistic timeline.

  • SEO & competitor research first. With our partners at Replicant Digital leading the keyword and competitor research, we learned how prospective students actually search and where competing programs ranked — shaping the site’s structure and messaging before a line of the marketing copy was written.
