Privacy Policy

Who we are
DigiSavvy is a web development and marketing agency at 21 Miller Alley, Suite 210, Pasadena, CA 91103. This policy covers digisavvy.com and the forms, bookings and emails connected to it.
What we collect and why
We collect information you give us directly (your name, email, phone number, company, and what you tell us about your project) and some information automatically (pages you visit on this site, the page that sent you here, campaign tags in links, your browser and device type, and your IP address). We use it to answer you, scope and quote work, run our business, keep the site secure, and understand which content is useful.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for cross-site advertising.
Forms and bookings
When you fill out a form on this site (starting a project, requesting an SEO snapshot, booking a call, or joining our newsletter), we collect what you enter plus your IP address. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you’re a person.
Project requests are scored by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) so we can spot spam and prioritize follow-up. A person at DigiSavvy reviews every real lead; the AI doesn’t make decisions about you. Form data is stored on this site and in our own customer database. Call bookings are handled by cal.com, and our emails are delivered through Postmark.
Phone calls
Calls to our business line are answered by an AI voice assistant (powered by Retell AI). Calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can understand your request and follow up. What you share on the call (such as your name, number and reason for calling) is handled like information from our forms. If you prefer not to talk to an AI assistant, email [email protected] instead.
Analytics
We use Fathom Analytics to count visits. Fathom doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal information; we see totals (pages, referrers, countries, devices), not individuals.
Visitor tracking for people we know
We also run our own lightweight tracker (served from crm.digisavvy.dev). It stores a random ID in your browser’s local storage. It only connects visits to a person after you’ve identified yourself to us, for example by submitting a form or clicking a link in an email we sent you. When it does, it records the pages you view, page titles, the referring page, campaign tags, and actions such as booking a call, and links them to your contact record so we know what you’ve been reading before we talk.
The tracker turns itself off if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also opt out at any time: Opt out of site tracking. Opting out is saved in this browser only.
Cookies
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only if you log in to the site or leave a comment and choose to save your details (comment cookies last a year; login cookies last two days, or two weeks with Remember Me). Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie to protect the site.
Comments
If you comment, we collect what you enter in the comment form plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. A hashed version of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile picture (Gravatar’s privacy policy).
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages include embedded content (videos, social posts, booking calendars). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other site, which may collect data about you and use its own cookies and tracking.
Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run the site and business, under their own privacy and security terms: our web host (GridPane, on US servers), Cloudflare (security and spam protection), Fathom (analytics), Anthropic (AI lead triage), Postmark (email delivery), cal.com (scheduling), and Retell AI (our phone assistant). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep lead, form and contact information, including site visit history linked to a contact, for as long as we have a business relationship or a reasonable business need. Anonymous analytics totals are kept indefinitely. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights, including California residents
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell or share it for advertising) and the right not to be treated differently for using these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we’ll respond within 45 days.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
